With roots in the Deep South, Charlie's natural gifts for numbers and an eye for details led him to achieve an undergraduate degree in finance at LSU and a law degree from Mississippi College School of Law. His role at Apple Realty is to manage all things finance, overseeing the quality control of our owner accounting and keeping the team on track with key metrics on our company performance. When not working, Charlie enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, serving in his local church, being outdoors, and cheering on his LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. 

Will has property management running in his blood. As a Durham native, he grew up around the property management industry and after a season in the restaurant business found his way back to where his roots started. He manages our South Durham portfolio of properties and both owners and tenants enjoy his down-to-earth and common-sense approach he brings from his 20+ years managing properties.

Dean knows properties and has been resolving repairs, both large and small, for decades. He brings an “owner’s” perspective, having owned investment properties himself. Dean excels in working to coordinate the repairs for each property’s cost effectively and efficiently, with a proactive mindset focused on properly maintaining the property and thus protecting the owner’s investment, keeping the owner and tenant updated throughout the repair process, and ultimately finishing the repair with a satisfied tenant. His friendly voice and expert guidance is a great asset to every owner and tenant we work with.

Pittsburgh, penguins and property management pretty much sum up Kathy, who is our resident wizard of owner finance. Nothing slides by her as she keeps a close eye on every bill that comes through the office and ensures our owners’ accounting runs smoothly and accurately. With 30+ years in the property management and real estate business, she uses her sharp mind for numbers, keen memory, and years of experience to ensure the rents come in and expenses go out accurately, on time, and by the book. 

Micah started working part time with Apple Realty in 2021 and after graduating with a degree in business, he came on full time as an Assistant Property Manager for our North Durham portfolio. He brings optimism and energy to the team and efficiently oversees the many logistics of making sure the properties he oversees are rented and maintained to maximize value to our owners.

As a Durham native, Kim has witnessed the rapid growth of the Bull City and brings her local expertise to every transaction. She has worked with both experienced investors and first time home buyers over her years as a broker, expertly guiding them through the sales process to achieve the best outcome and meet their goals.. Her knowledge and common sense approach helps her clients understand each step and make the transaction as smooth and enjoyable as possible from contract to close.

Stephen enjoys helping tenants and owners navigate the rental process. After working part-time for several years with Apple Realty, he was promoted to Assistant Property Manager over our growing Raleigh portfolio. His clear communication and get-it-done approach brings great value to our team and the owners he serves.

Shannon has years of experience in property management and grew up in sunny Florida. She brings warmth and expertise to each step of the leasing process, helping hundreds of renters find a place to call home each year.
